Hello, loyal readers! In today’s blog, I will be speaking candidly about coming face to face with someone we prefer not to encounter. Who is that? Oneself! It is extremely scary. Many times we run away rather than confront it because the truth hurts!

Why? Because we have to look in the mirror of truth the reality of our flaws, disappointments, fears, and failures. However, when we get the courage to meet ourselves in the mirror eye to eye. We will encounter who we truly are. You are the sum of all your life’s experiences. The good, the bad, and the ugly.

Now, your experiences does not define you. You and should only be you who determines the significance of what you went through. Don’t get stuck there! Discover what were the life lessons of what you went through. Draw a positive outlook even in the most challenging situations you faced.

Ask the questions, “what did I learn from these experiences?” What will I do differently in future circumstances? Uncover misconceptions that keep you bound. See with eyes of wonder, hope, and excitement. Above all, still maintain a heart willing to love, trust, and give of yourself. Only this time you will do it wiser!

Remember you are not the enemy! You are your own best friend to confide in as you walk this journey called life. The greatest part is that you are not doing it alone. God is with you ALWAYS!! He will show you the way and uncover the truth about yourself. You will mature from your experiences as you depend on Him wholeheartedly.

“Teach me your ways, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.” Psalms 86:11

Hello, my loyal readers! This month has been special to me because it is the month, I was born many years ago. I am reflecting what has transpired in my life since my decision to have my life totally dedicated to God. Since I have made that choice, my journey has been full of amazing surprises, challenges for growth, and joy in the process.

Surrendering your life, dreams, hopes, future ambitions, past regrets, present problems, and disillusionment is not easy to give it up. The most frightening action is to give it all to God without taking it back! Letting Him take control of every aspect of your life is scary to say the least! Yet, the true heart of worship is surrender.

I read this in “The Purpose Driven Life” which I want to share with you. There are three barriers that block our total surrender to God: fear, pride, and confusion. Can we trust God? The bible says, “Perfect love cast out fear.” He loves us unconditionally, however, do we truly believe it?

Pride does not want to admit we cannot control everything. We are flawed with limitations. We try to manage all that is around us without realizing we are not God, nor will we ever be. When we acknowledge we can’t do it alone wholeheartedly then God can work in us.

Confusion does not permit you to see, hear, nor understand the plan and purpose God has for you. Chaos and confusion sometimes go hand in hand to cause you to stumble and not give with all your desires to God. The author of confusion is not God ever! Ask for guidance and wisdom for He will give you clarity.

“Surrender your whole being to him to be used for righteous purposes.” Romans 6: 13b

Hello, my loyal readers! As I am writing you this blog, I will be completing the audiobook in English, and the written book in Spanish and Portuguese. God reminded me of the journey I have had since 2015 with all the circumstances and situations faced along the way. Since this is my birthday month, He asked me, “What did I learned from all of that?”

The first thing I can tell you is that I had to go back to my roots. My origin of not only my background of where I was born, or how I was born, but what purpose was I born. What is the imprint I was going to leave on every person who got to know me? Yet, the answer was not externally discovered but internally sought out as a precious hidden treasure worth looking for.

What did I discover? I discovered that who I thought I was in my identity was a lie. I had to throw those lies from my mind and heart to set new truths to be my light for my new life I was embarking in. As I reset new ideologies, I began to have hope of a better future. So instead of regretting the past, I was looking forward to new adventures and possibilities in front of me.

Secondly, I renew all my hopes and dreams I tucked away in my subconscious to a vision board that I look at every single day. I strive to make them a reality with strategic planning with dates. I meet new people that I truly want to have a deeper connection with. With this, my mind is productive, my heart is with great hope, and I smile from ear to ear joyfully!

Finally, I make a conscientious effort to only do things and activities that will enrich, enhance, and refresh my life to the max. I only want to do what brings joy, love, and peace in my life. This is my advice to you, my friends. Make sure when you say yes to anything that the results will bring these valuable commodities in your environment. Hugs and kisses to you!!!

“Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things (center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart).” Philippians 4:8
