Hello, faithful readers! It is so good to be able to speak you about what’s in my heart. Today, I was talking to someone about the different experiences I had been able to embrace. One of them is to choose to be true to myself. What do I mean by that? I decided to evaluate what I will accept in my life and what I will not.

The word that comes to mind is integrity. In general, integrity is a word used to describe a person's commitment to honesty and willingness to do what’s right. For example, a person who abstains from cheating, lying, or stealing would be a person who acts with great integrity. Why is this important? Your actions, attitudes, and words reflect who you truly are.

How do you want to be known for? Fame, notoriety, and popularity are fleeting. Here today, gone tomorrow. What will last is your genuine character that have been tested and will continue to be examined until you pass away. Be known for what you are, what you care about, and what you are passionate about.

“Integrity is when what you think and what you say and what you do are one.” Naval Ravikant. Let it not be an internal battle of who you are vs what pleases others. Remember YOU must live with yourself. Rest in knowing that at the end of the day you did your best, what was right, and with no regrets. You will be at peace!

“In peace (and with a tranquil heart) I will both lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety and confident trust.” Psalms 10:11

Hi, my faithful readers! Spring is around the corner wanting to show off the bright rainbow colors in nature. The birds along with the voices of the wind singing a melody for all to dance to. I am excited for the upcoming months because of all the projects I will be involved in.

Speaking about projects, today, I want to speak about been a trailblazer. What is a trailblazer, you may ask? It is one that blazes a trail to guide others. A pathfinder. It is not going to the same course as everyone else. Instead, uncovering new territories to learn and discover from. Then leading others to experience a new perspective. Interesting, isn’t it?

The traits of a trailblazer are:

1. Creative thinking- allows to explore all possibilities for solutions when confronted with opportunities.

2. Welcome change with a big smile on their face and open arms for a bear hug. Knows that what is constant in life is change.

3. Makes a difficult task to accomplish into simplistic method that other can follow successfully. Critical thinking is second nature to them.

4. Allows others to be part of their world closely. This permits others to see who they truly are. It reflects their heart and passion in what they do.

Ralph Waldo Emerson stated, “Do not go where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” Be a trailblazer! Lead others to a path of discovery, freedom, and passion for a life filled with wonder!

The best example of a trailblazer was Jesus. He was not like the religious leaders of his time. On the contrary, he caused many to question his methods and ideology. Yet, he did signs, wonders, and miracles with people who wanted a better life. He not only marked their lives while he was living, but he is also still marking peoples’ lives to this day!

“I came that they may have life and have it in abundance.” John 10:10

Therefore don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:34 (CSB)

A Prayer to Hand My Worries to God

God, You tell me that I don’t need to worry about tomorrow. This can be so challenging when I think of all that’s happened in the world around me. Please help me to lay down my concerns to You and trust that You hear my prayers. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
