Hello my loyal readers! The month of May is very special for me because it is the month that my mother had me to this one who writes to you today. Not for the simple reason that a girl is born into this world. It's because she didn't have to let me be born. The decision was hers whether I was born or not.

Why do I say this? It is because I was the product of a rape committed against her. Why have such a terrible reminder like that? Truth? As far as society was concerned, she was within her human right to get rid of "this thing" that was inside her.

Yet, she knew that what was inside her was a creature that was forming every day. At six weeks of fertilization, the little arms and legs are developing. The heart begins to beat, and the little eyes are being created.

For me, my mother gave me the most precious gift anyone could give me. Life! She knew that God gave life and that I had a plan here on earth. She would love me and teach me the good I needed to learn.

For this on this day I want to thank my mother María Luisa Lozada for loving me so much. That, although she was confronted with one of the most difficult decisions a woman can have in her life, she decided to have me.

"For you formed my innermost parts; you made me in my mother's womb. I praise you; for formidable, wonderful are your works; I am amazed, and my soul knows it very well. My body was not concealed from you, well that in the occult I was formed, and woven into the depths of the earth. My embryo saw your eyes and in your book were written all those things." Psalm 139:13-16

Hello, my faithful readers! Today, I will be asking you five important questions that I was able to ponder myself as I was reading the book, “The Purpose Driven Life” by Rick Warren. It will take time to answer them truly and honestly according to your state of being.

It is not to have a quick answer and then move on like nothing happened. To get real results, it is critical to deeply meditate, frankly evaluate, and take positive actions. You will have a greater effect on your personal life. I know I did! So, with that said, let’s get to the heart of it!

  1. What will be the center of your life? “You can have a career, family, money, sports or hobby, or many other activities. However, none is strong enough to hold you together when life begins to break you apart. You need an unshakeable center. Let God be your center. When God’s at the center of your life, you worship. When he is not, you worry.” Rick Warren

  2. What will be the character of your life? Character is who you are than what you do. Make a list of the character qualities you want to work on and develop in your life.

  3. What will be the contribution to your life? This is about making a difference in the place you are serving. When you serve, you are meeting the needs of people and creating an overflow of gratefulness to God.

  4. What will be the communication of your life? Your life’s purpose statement is to share with others. Life lessons that will provide hope for others to be able to apply in their own lives.

  5. What will be the community of your life? We have been wired to be relational and it is important to connect with others. Finding the community in which to be part of and get involved will bring joy.

“For David, … served the purpose of God in his own generation.” Acts 13:26

He began his ministry hungry, although He is the Bread of Life.

He ended his ministry thirst, although He is the Water of Life.

I was tired, even though He is our rest.

He paid tribute, even though He is the King.

He was accused of having a demon,

although He freed others from demons.

He cried, even though He wipes away our tears.

He was sold for thirty pieces of silver, although He redeemed the world.

He was brought as a sheep to the slaughterhouse,

although He is the Good Shepherd.

He died, though by His death He destroyed the power of death.

This paradox that was written in the fourth century and it shows us that Jesus stripped himself of everything to experience what each of us goes through here on earth. It is because of this truth that He is our Mediator between God and men. "For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in everything as we are, but without sin." Hebrews 4:15

He is our advocate who intercedes for us to the Father. He made the greatest sacrifice in coming to earth as a man, limiting himself in a corruptible body, and going through the transition of time. He willingly came to reconcile us to the Father. His only purpose is to be an intermediary between the divine and the earthly. Why? Because he loved us and continues to love us unconditionally!

John 3:16 says, "For God so loves the world that he has given his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." “For there is only one God, and only one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ, who gave himself as a ransom for all, of which he bore witness in due time." 1 Tim. 2:5-6
