Eyes of Gratitude

Hello, my loyal readers! I am filled with deep gratitude for what I have seen God do in my life. With that said, I want to share with you why my heart is filled with joy. I want to begin in an area that I have been praying for a long time. It is about restoring loving, healthy, and meaningful relationships. Little by little my relationships are forming, mending and rebuilding stronger than before.

In addition, new opportunities have opened that are exhilarating scary yet amazingly exciting for me to be able to accomplish. In this new journey, a sense of anticipation for growth and development of a new me is stirring from within. Since the transition of my life’s events, I have seen my life with eyes of gratitude. I am not the same I was several months, weeks, or days ago. Internal and external changes have made me new. That, my friends, is what I am thankful for.

Today, I want to ask you a question for you to consider carefully. However, it is not only to think carefully about it but to have a call to action. Are you willing to do it? If your answer is yes, you will be able to experience the change you have been desiring to see. Are you ready for a new outlook on life? Yes? Excellent! However, it is important to do it wholeheartedly and totally without missing a step.

First, take a piece of paper and a pen. Write down the following questions: What do I see in my life that brings me joy? Jot it down on the paper of at least ten answers. Now, I want you to close your eyes and I want you to look inside your heart. Who are you thankful for and why? Write the names of the people you are thankful for along with why they are important. You are almost finished!

Now this is the call to action for you to complete. The list you have written down, I want you to look at it again. Have you missed anything else that you need to include? If so, do it at this point. Then, with the names you wrote down and why they were important to you, decide ways to express your gratitude. You may send a note, make a surprise visit, or calling them to express your thoughts. I promise you that you will not be the same!

“You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.” 2 Corinthians 9:11

Peace, Love, and Joy!
