The Gift of Giving

Hello, loyal readers! The statement, “it is better to give than to receive” has been said throughout the years especially during the Christmas holidays. Yet, in all honesty, what does it really mean when you hear those words? Do you agree with it, or do you beg to differ in the

matter?

It is not just the act of giving but why we are doing it? What happens when you give from the heart? There is a sense of joy that you are causing another person to receive something what they needed or wanted. It is a tangible expression of love you have for someone you care for.

Giving comes in many forms that can be shared with others. It is sharing of your sentiments,

time, expertise and experiences that others will tremendously benefit from. Freely give wholeheartedly that will in turn produce such a profound joy within you.

Throughout this year, many people have graciously given their love, time, counsel, finances, and words of encouragement. I truly value all that has been given to me. It’s the intangible ones that are one of life’s precious gifts. Take a moment to consider those that have been there for you.

Today, I want you to know that YOU have been very important to me. Why? Together, we have shared our life’s journey with hope and expectations of a brighter future. Healing has taken place in our hearts and souls through God’s love and his word. I want to let you know that I thank God for you. YOU ARE GOD’S GIFT FOR US!

Peace, Love, and Joy!
