Relentless Hope

Hello, my faithful readers! Its has been a whirlwind of events these past few weeks in my life. I have had several amazing experiences as well as some challenges that has not been easy to face. In this blog, I will be as transparent as crystalline water concerning both. You see, just as a coin has two sides, we can have two sets of circumstances at the same time.

In this moment in time, I have my father with Parkinson’s Disease and my oldest son diagnosed with Schizophrenia that has been placed in a mental institution a few days ago. Coping with these two spectrums of diseases is not easy to do. Then, how do you do it?

First, where are you in reference to your state of being? If the answer is you are well, make sure you have a support system to maintain it. If the answer is you need help, stop everything. I mean now! Seek counsel for you for you to help your loved ones. You cannot do it alone!

It truly takes a village to provide support with all the dynamics that each situation entails. When you become vulnerable and transparent in your life in what you are confronted with, there is hope that will be provided for you. This will allow you to see things in a different perspective with renewed strength. Seek counsel, ask for assistance, and express your true emotions with someone you trust. Never forget that God is always there for you! Trust in His promises. This will produce in You a relentless hope!!!

“We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Thessalonian 1:3

Peace, Love, and Joy!
