Life’s Roller Coaster Ride

Hi, loyal readers! How many of you love rollercoaster rides? If your answer is Yes, then you are in my tribe. You see, I love the suspense and the thrill of it. You go and buckle yourself securely in the seat. You wait with anticipation until everyone does the same. Ok, it seems all is well and the ride begins.

You look at the surroundings enjoying the view as the vehicle continues to go faster. Then it starts to go up, up, up until you see the panoramic view of the park. Lo and behold you start to go almost vertically down almost light speed! Your stomach has fallen down to the ground and your heart it’s at your throat. In a blink of and eye, you are now on the bottom leveled safely close to the ground. What a rush of adrenaline!!!

For those that don’t like this, you are saying why are we even considering this in your blog? I will you know why, my friend. You see life has a tendency to give you highs and lows, up and down. Circumstances and situations that will thrill you, scare you almost to death, and even disappoint you. What do you do in all of it?

Know that you are not alone. There’s others that have been through it and can help you navigate with you. You will feel the emotions but don’t let the emotions take control over you. Know that you are secure in the hands of God. He will not let you go. He is with you in the ride. He will hold onto you and will never leave you. You will see it differently once you believe him. Trust God, experience with excitement the process and enjoy the ride!!

“May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors; may he never leave us or forsake us.” 1 Kings 8:57

Peace, Love, and Joy!
